January's Character
Trait is COURAGE

Courage is the quality that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc. without fear.  An idiom that includes courage is to have the courage of one's convictions.  This is so important for our students who are at such a formative time in their lives.  They are going to face moments of peer pressure and can truly benefit from having the courage of their convictions.

Artful Learning Comes to RMS!

Roosevelt Middle School is an Emergent Leonard Bernstein Artful Learning School.  This video documents portions of our staff training in August, 2017.  In this video, you'll see teachers' hands-on learning of the Artful Learning sequence: Experience, Inquire, Create, and Reflect.  Also depicted are teachers learning about and practicing some of the Arts Based Skills and Strategies that all students can look forward to experiencing at Roosevelt Middle School.  We are so excited about this year and everything Artful Learning will bring for our students!  Enjoy the video!
