Roosevelt Middle School

Dads on Campus (DOC)

New to this year!

Research has shown the benefits of dad involvement in schools:

Their children...

  • learn more
  • perform better in school
  • exhibit healthier behavior
  • have fewer discipline problems
  • are more likely to participate in extracurricular activities
  • enjoy school more

The Idea of DOC

Dads on campus is network of dads looking for easy ways to increase their involvement at Roosevelt Middle School.  Through increased awareness, advocacy and support, dads can help make a positive impact in the community no matter how much time they have available.

DOC will provide opportunities for dads to meet other dads with same common interest in their child's experience and school related activities. DOC will be a great way to incorporate male presence in our school community, demonstrating that dads can be involved too.

Please contact us at if you would like to join the DOC group.

General DOC duties will be to help with set up, take down of events, sign up for volunteer opportunities and organize a DOC meet and greet.
